Hello! I’m Angela, the founder and instructor of Very Pilates.
I was first brought to Pilates more than 10 years ago when I was looking for some exercises to help relieve the constant muscle strain and fatigue in my body. Very soon I became very convinced with the Pilates method and have since become an advocate of it. I enjoy not only the physical work-out, but the mind-body awareness and the strength and confidence Pilates gives. I made a decision to leave my longtime corporate career in 2013 to become better in my areas of passion. I completed the Intermediate Teacher Training Program at The Pilates Center in Colorado, America in 2015 and started my own Pilates studio in Hong Kong the same year.
When I’m not doing Pilates, I coach executives – another lifelong passion of mine. I am a certified executive coach. I support corporate executives and teams to be more effective in their work and perform at the best of their capabilities. I strongly believe that Pilates and coaching are complementary methods as they both heighten one's self-awareness and build up one's ability to maintain his/her physical and psychological well-being. If you are interested in both methods, I am more than happy to support you with a combination of Pilates and coaching for it's a blessing to invest my time and to help people with my passion.
